Action of life

We always think that when our body is doing some work, we are in action. But while sleeping also we are in action. As long as we live we act. The action differs from individual to individual. We act according to our nature and we get it from our previous action. ” The inherent tendency, the innate bent, aptitude or urge present in man as his individualistic nature is Vasana or Desire. It is a result of his past action”. Whatever we do in the past, produce the present desire and present desire rises to future action. Desire is the cause and action is the effect. That means action and desire go in cycle.
Now the question arise in every body’s mind that how to come out of these desires. Man is the most intelligent animal and has a choice of action. Other animals inherent by nature. They cannot think of anything. We are living in the society and bound by some man made laws. We some times have to listen to our elders and follow them. If we want to come out of this cycle of action and desire, we have to train our intellect. We should acquire the proper knowledge to make a decision. Sometimes we fall into trap by other person’s decision and action. When we will come out of this situation and take our own decision, we can control our desire and save ourselves from the cycle of action and desire. Desire should be according to ones capacity.
Unnecessary or wastefull Desire creates faulty and sad Action. Happiness is when we are out of this circle.
Is not inaction the Best action to end all desire and the cycle ?
