The human mind needs more and more and so people want to accumulate more money, happiness is equated in money. Besides the various roles if we teach a person to share, and act as a team memeber things will improve. We have to teach a person about some profession to earn money and then help other in the profession with his knowledge. You are right we have to BE human first.
