Human Being

August 28th, 2007 by Jashodhara Purkayastha

What role do we play in this world?
As a mother, father, teacher or human being.

Mother gives birth to a child
Feeds the baby with sleepless nights
Father takes care of the family
Ensuring whole-hearted support.

Teacher plays a gardener’s role
Sowing seeds to selecting fruits
Nurture values, virtues in a sound healthy manner.

But it is difficult to be a right human being
Everyone should make an effort to be a selfless human being.

Selfless human does his work without expectations,
Doesn’t bother for fame and name, delivers social work,
Helping is his only motto, without caste, creed or religion.

  1. Swapan Purkayastha Says:

Our prayer, Gayatri Mantra concentrates upon the virtues of the Sun. The sun shines on all without differentiating between things. Our motto ‘not to hate anyone’ can bring social quality in this society. The God in us also is symbolized as Father, Mother, Friend, Teacher and faithful helper. Our role should be close to God.

  2. Sanjeev Sharma Says:

The day people understand that we have nothing to carry with us the problems can be soloved.
The human mind needs more and more and so people want to accumulate more money, happiness is equated in money.
Besides the various roles if we teach a person to share, and act as a team memeber things will improve.

We have to teach a person about some profession to earn money and then help other in the profession with his knowledge.
You are right we have to BE human first.
